Friday Faves 2.16 – Der Fitnessista

Hello friends! How are you doing? I hope you had a great week. We are off to something fun, and I will be sharing the adventures on IG Stories! What are your plans for this weekend? I feel like I need to „currently“ get back into blogging because I have a lot of pictures to post today. It’s been a very fun week 🙂 Last weekend, we were here in the city at an event called Beefsteak. It was a charity event and auction to support military veterans, and we had the BEST time. We went with a group of friends, ate amazing food, won some prizes, and spent hours on the dance floor. I quickly remembered how much I enjoy dancing with a margarita in hand to 90s rap, Selena, and early 2000s music. It’s been too long. Here are some pictures from the festivities: (My dress was a find from Dillard’s! I ordered three from Rent the Runway and nothing worked. I was thrilled to find something cute at the last minute.) This week was also Valentine’s Day and Ash Wednesday. It was great that such a gloomy day coincided with a festive holiday full of sweets, but we enjoyed the best of both worlds. The girls woke up to Valentine’s baskets, we went to church together, and had an epic dinner at Fleming’s. Always the seafood tower: with the potatoes (I want to curl up and live inside), asparagus, salad, gin cocktails, filet mignon, and chocolate lava cake. When Liv was still a baby, we started celebrating Valentine’s Day with the girls. We couldn’t find a babysitter, took them out to dinner, and had the best time.
